Who we are

An Egyptian house that has been doing this a long time.

Duna Tours Egypt opened its doors in Giza in 2008 as a fully licensed Egyptian tourism company. Since then we have looked after visitors arriving to see the pyramids, Egyptians heading out into the world, pilgrims travelling for Umrah and Hajj, and families who needed care and quiet abroad.

Our logo is Atlas holding up the globe, and it is not decoration. The whole point of a good travel company is that somebody else carries the weight — the permits, the seats, the transfers, the hotel that answers at midnight — so that the traveller carries nothing at all.

  • A licensed Egyptian tourism company, trading continuously since 2008
  • IATA member — we issue tickets ourselves rather than through a middleman
  • Trained, professional staff who answer the phone and stay with your file
  • One point of contact from first enquiry to the ride home

What we do

Six desks, one company, one phone number.

Most agencies do one of these things. We were built to do all of them, because a family rarely needs only one — a pilgrimage this spring, a treatment abroad in summer, and someone reliable to book the flights for both.

Inbound A guide showing temple carvings to a small group of visitors

Incoming tourism

Visitors arriving into Egypt, hosted properly — airport meet-and-greet, licensed guides, hotels, Nile cruises and every transfer in between, on a pace that suits you.

Outbound A European river city lit up at dusk

Outgoing tourism

Travelling out of Egypt — Europe, the Gulf, the Far East and beyond. Visa guidance, hotels, tours and transfers arranged before you leave, so nothing is improvised.

Ticketing An airliner at the gate in golden morning light

Air ticketing

As an IATA member we issue tickets on any airline directly — including the awkward ones: multi-city routes, group bookings, changes at short notice and reissues.

Desk: ticketing@dunatoursegypt.com

Pilgrimage A calm mosque courtyard at dawn with pilgrims in white

Umrah & Hajj

Religious tourism handled with the care it deserves — paperwork, flights, hotels close to the Haram and group leadership, for first-time pilgrims and returning ones.

Desk: omraandhajj@dunatoursegypt.com

Health A bright, calm private clinic reception

Medical tourism

Treatment abroad, arranged around the appointment rather than the other way round: clinic scheduling, flights, a companion's room and recovery time built into the trip.

Desk: info@dunatoursegypt.com

Wellness A historic European thermal bathing hall with steaming mineral water

Spa & thermal treatments

Full treatment stays at the thermal resorts of Central Europe, through our partners Danubius and ENSANA — booked as a proper course, not a weekend add-on.

Where we take you

Egypt, from the obvious wonders to the quiet ones.

Everyone comes for Giza, and they should. But the country keeps going — south along the river to Luxor and Aswan, east to the reefs, west into a desert made of white chalk.

Giza & Cairo

The Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the lantern-lit lanes of Khan El Khalili.

Luxor

Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, and a balloon at sunrise.

A Nile cruise ship passing palm-fringed banks at sunset

Nile cruises

Luxor to Aswan, unpacking once and waking up somewhere new.

Turquoise water over a Red Sea coral reef beside a white sand beach

The Red Sea

Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam — reef diving, or simply doing nothing at all.

Wind-carved chalk formations in the White Desert at sunset

White Desert

Chalk towers, orange sand and a sky full of stars.

Egypt has been receiving guests for five thousand years. We still think the details are the part people remember.

Signature journeys

A few shapes a trip can take.

These are outlines, not packages. Tell us your dates, your pace and what you actually want out of the trip, and we will build the real thing around them.

Journey 01

Classic Egypt

The one everybody means when they say they want to see Egypt. Pyramids and the museum first, then the sleeper south to the temples, finishing on the water at Aswan.

  • Giza plateau, Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum
  • Karnak, Luxor Temple and the Valley of the Kings
  • Philae, the High Dam and a felucca at sunset
  • Licensed Egyptologist guide throughout

Journey 02

The River & the Reef

Half history, half holiday. Four nights drifting between Luxor and Aswan, then across to the coast to swap the guidebook for a snorkel and a very long lunch.

  • Two nights Cairo, four-night full-board Nile cruise
  • Abu Simbel by road at dawn
  • Four nights Red Sea resort, diving optional
  • All internal flights and transfers included

Journey 03

Desert & Oases

For travellers who have already done the temples. Hot springs, chalk formations that look like sculpture, a night camped under the stars, and the long quiet road to Siwa.

  • 4x4 safari with an experienced desert crew
  • Overnight camp in the White Desert
  • Salt lakes, palm groves and the Oracle Temple at Siwa
  • Small groups only

Spa & medical travel

Central Europe's thermal resorts, booked from Giza.

Egypt is where we live. Europe is where we send people to get better. Through our long-standing relationships with Danubius Hotels and ENSANA Spa Resorts we book full treatment stays at the mineral springs of Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Georgia.

A proper course, with the doctor's consultation, the treatment schedule, the flights and the transfers arranged as one trip — and one team in Cairo to call if anything moves.

Who we work with

Relationships we have kept for years.

Good travel is mostly other people keeping their word. These are the groups we book through most often, and the reason we can promise what we promise.

Small enough to care, licensed enough to deliver.

Direct ticketing

IATA accreditation means we issue and reissue tickets ourselves — faster changes, fewer excuses, real fares.

Reach beyond Egypt

Partner hotels, spa resorts and cruise lines across Europe and worldwide, so outbound trips are booked, not guessed.
